Work is underway at the regional and federal levels on addressing the challenges of sea-level rise. How are federal efforts of particular importance to Hampton Roads? What regional needs can be addressed at the federal level? What is the current state-of-play of infrastructure coordination between federal military installations and Hampton Roads localities? Mayor Fraim will speak at the top and introduce panelists, who will field questions from Members. |

The whole-of-government task force announced at the ODU Tech Surge, the General Assembly's recurrent flooding subpanel, the Governor's Climate Resiliency Commission, and the Hampton Roads Planning District Commission are all doing important work on marshalling the technical and policy work of stakeholders across government, academia, and the private sector. How can we best leverage these groups' expertise and missions? Mayor Sessoms will speak at the top and introduce panelists, who will field questions from Members.
