TUK IN THE ARCTIC

It is hard to find quality programming for children. Science Alliance Live strives to connect children, families, and teachers to scientific research as well as fascinating scientists in Hampton Roads! Their events are fun and highly entertaining as well as being educational.

This year's show is “Tuk in the Arctic.” Children will meet Tuk, the hard-working science dog, and his pals: ODU Oceanographer Victoria Hill and Polar Engineer Smith Carter. Will they be able to finish their sea ice science project before they run out of chocolate?

The show runs 45 minutes and there are hands-on science activities and a chance to meet the actors after every show.

Best of all - the show takes place at family-friendly times. Thursday, June 5 at 6:30; Fridays, June 6, 13, and 20 at 6:30; and Saturdays, June 7, 14, and 21 @ 10:30 and 3.
